GRAPHING Challenging with GSheet
Rationale behind the Challenge
When we gather data through a GoogleForm, it generates various kinds of charts automatically. However, at times, it may not fulfill all the requirements (e.g. a title that is different from what we want, the axes are not completely drawn).
As such, we need to know how to use GSheet to plot our own charts - where we can customise to meet our needs.
The Task
Click HERE to access the spreadsheet where the table is already created.
- (1) Make a copy of the spreadsheet and save it in your GoogleDrive.
- (2) Create the charts (Bar graph, Pie chart).
- (3) Post a screenshot of your chart under your group.
Each chart successfully created (and include the key features in the same) will be awarded 3 points 🎁

Study Notes (Task 1) Revisiting Pictogram, Bar Graph, Pie Chart & Line Graphs
[same post in Google Classroom, posted on 2 March 2026]
In primary school, we learnt what the different visual representations are and how to read them.
At secondary level, we are going into greater depth looking deeper into the characteristics of each visual representation, the advantages and disadvantages of each type, AND how to interpret the info to aid decision making.
In Task 1, we will recap our knowledge by going through 3 SLS lesson materials.
Then we summarise them in a graphic using FREEFORM.
👉 The SLS lessons are already assigned in the SLS. Attempt them and draft the notes in your study notes (that will be given to you on in class)
👉 Submit an image of your summary (graphic from FreeForm) in the Padlet
Estimated duration: 50 minutes (over 1 week period)
Deadline: 9 March (MON), 0900 (before 1st lesson of the week)
